Stole my dog!!!

You aren't gonna believe this...
While my wife was gone to Columbia, S.C. for 4 hours today, someone stole my full blood American bulldog puppy out of my fenced in yard ON base housing. We think that it was one of the construction workers that occupy the area across from us, but, we have no proof. The wife said that she saw a worker in our front yard when she pulled up from picking one of the kids up from school, but he beat it when she pulled up. I really do not think that he got out, I have the fence puppy proofed, and he's been outside for 4-5 weeks without getting out, and he's got nothing but bigger from the time that I puppy proofed the yard/fence. I'm pretty irate, I hope that I've cooled off by Monday, cause I'm going to go talk to the forman at the construction site. I know that the dog is gone, and I will never see him again, but some blood would help make things feel better. (no, I'm not going to the construction office and playing Marine.) I think that I would have been less upset if they had stole my truck.

BTW, this is the puppy that you guys helped me name a few months ago, 5 or 6 pages worth of suggestions, and we finally voted on Diesel.

Sorry to rant, but I figured that my DTR family would lend an ear.

Man, I'm ( I'll just go ahead and put edited for content, you get the idea.)

I'm trying not to go to jail. I could easily find out who took him... there is only so much pain a human body can take before he confesses... belive me, I know... but I am trying to be grown up/rational/a professional Marine and say that man's best friend is not worth killing a bunch of migrant workers till someone confesses. Don't tempt me. The MP's that came over were ( this is an edit word too) !!! I think that they were ready to mess someone up too. One of the MP's was a recruit in the deck below me, and knew who I was. (if he was one of mine, he probably would have shot me.)

The saga continues. If you guys qiut hearing from me after monday, send a can od copenhagen to the Levenworth brig for me. I'm tempted to hook the Cummins to the construction trailer and see how far I can get with it... Depends on how much more beer I drink tonight...

go on a stake out. get some pictures. then be civil about it...

besides, a dozen marines in black with M4s busting thru every opening in the guys trailer would probably make him reconsider a life of crime.

We had something strange go on today and I figured out what the lady was trying to do. We have a AKC registered Min Pin. She was in the front yard on her cord running around the yard. The cord will go up to about 10 feet from the street in front of my house. This same car kept driving by and stoping between my mailbox and the stop sign at the corner of the street. This woman drove by and did this 5 times. I think she was checking to see if we were paying attention and if we were not I believe she would've taken my dog. We figured it out and went out and she had started slowing down again and my wife was standing there and she sped off really quick and we never saw her car again. It is almost Christmas and I guess people would rather take what others have already bought then go pay 250 for a dog. People are ridiculous.

We cary M-16's now.. and it is just an office trailer, not where the guy lives. Belive me, if he lived there, I'd be writing a post about how someone stole my dog, and then I got him back...I don't want to put it like this for the sake of not offending anyone, cause that's not what I'm trying to do, but... My wife seen one of the hispanic workers that work for the construction company almost in our yard this afternoon, when she drove up, they beat it... I'm guessing that it was him. What does he care? All he has to do is quit, no one can track him. Plus, the dog is worth probably 2 weeks day labor around here, that's a nice siesta. Like I said before, I know that I can get answers with force, but I have a wife and three kids to feed.

I'm glad that you guys were home, duddin. It's a bad feeling...

I would rather them steal my stuff, I have probably 10k in the 2 tool sheeds behind my house, and a 600 dollar grill on my front porch... I guess that I am lucky that is all that is missing.

"Paw, yeller ain't gonna make it..."

The beer is helping. This would be a good country song. Came home from the Marines and my dog was stole from my trailer park yard, so I drank beer...

I'm glad we were as well. Sorry to hear about someone got yours. Thats really sad. I don't know what I would do if I had to look my 4 yr old daughter in the eyes and tell her that someone took her puppy. We bought the dog for her. The dog was 6 weeks old when we got her in June. Everyone laughs because I had always said growing up that I wanted a Min Pin. Well now we have one and everyone wants to know if we really bought the dog for my daughter or for me? LOL I just shrug my shoulders. I would drfinetly investigate if I was you. I'd go check with the boss of the crew and see if anyone doesn't show up and go from there. I'm really sorry.

if someone took my dog and i knew who it was, i wouldnt be able to post about it for a couple days. madhat, sorry to hear it, man. i'v discovered that most migrant workers are low-lifes w/ no up-bringing and only care for themselves. to steal from anyone, especially a marine is very disgusting. this guy deserves to get jacked-upim not condoning it, but he does deserve it

I had some line workers steal a puppy that my G-Friend at the time had just bought me. His name was Rocko-----he was a full blooded and registered Jack Russel. My father set him outside one day and poof he was gone in 5 minutes. There were a couple of Mexican boys working on the crew that I saw that morning and I knew that this was were he went. I hate theives, and will put a bullett hole in the next one that I catch on my property. He will dissappear quickly!

Boost, I can't believe that someone stole a JR... Just kidding. My folks had one when I was a kid, and he was a very loyal dog. Good breed.
Derek, I grew up in S. Fl, so I know a migrant worker. I try to remain as politically correct as possible, so I will not rule out anyone else. But, if it swims like a fish, smells like a.... you get the idea...
Spun, I grew up in a honor system, and you just didn't steal, period. Some things were reguarded higher than others, and good dogs and tools were some of them. (wives were there somewhere, too, I think.)
Cope, interesting user name... I have a nice, tasty wad in right now. Make sure that you stop by the PX first, 17.00 for a 5er, 13.00 with the $4 off coupon. I've been threatened with making big rocks into little ones before. I've been friends with Copenhagen a lot longer than anyone that I know...

Thanks, guys for your support. It's like someone murdered one of my kids. Glad you guys care, I'm pretty bumed.

This exact reason is why i kept my akc german shep in my house until she was able to develop a nice bark and some teeth protruded through the gums.

Sorry for the loss to your family.

Drag em to AZ, theres lots of empty desert here in AZ, and dead illegals arent too out of the norm to find scattered across the sand.. doubt anyone would question it!!!

i do get the idea. nothing on this site has made me as angry as this one. i am a huge dog-lover and i hope karma finds its way to this guy's doorstep, to put it nicely. my experience w/ "migrant workers" (or whatever PC term anyone wants to give them) are only here for money. they care nothing about us citizens or the country they are stealing from
