steering gear axis adjustment

Im replacing my slip joint on my shaft and i dont wanna do it again in a few years.Im wondering if theres any adjustment for the steering gear on its bracket or frame? If not what about making some adjustment clearance in the bolt holes to point it towards the driver.Id have to weld it in once adjusted probably.

I remember someone telling me about an adjustment screw that is on the top of the steering box. It allows you to remove any play in the wheel, but they said you can damage the gears if you do it too tight.

no im taliking about the angle of the pump shaft in relation to the steering shaft. Its not quite a straight shot,so id like to raise the steering box shaft up a little to make a straight line to the driver.
