Scam Private Message
 

I just noticed I had a private message; this is what it said:


Am I the only recipient or did everyone get this?

I also received the same PM. Bet that person does not even own a truck. I think that it is a scam and have sent a PM to Lary.

Yeah, I flagged it last night, assuming everyone got it.

And I was thinking I was the only special one that got it....[laugh][laugh][laugh]

The typos and mis-spelled words was my first clue that is was a scam.

The curious part of me --- well, most of me --- can't help but wonder just what awful catastrophe would happen to one's computer should they click on that e-mail address; I am certain the outcome would not be good.

How many parts of you are there?
Strangely I got the same message in an email, the one I use for this web site. And yes it contained a virus.[nonono]

Many --- I have been called multi-faceted, whatever that means.

I didn't know pm's could be sent by someone who just registered with no post history. Other web forums you can't Pm someone if you haven't posted on the site publicly, at least 10 posts

I might use a defunct member profile just to send NJTman a pm claiming he won the Nigerian Bank award of 250 million dollars....but first he has to send $2500.00 in tax and shipping/transfer fees so he can get the money [laugh]
