It hurts like really bad when I move it, and I can barely lift with it... plus my hand is swollen...
But I can move it...
What could have happened?

My wife is the director of the radiology program at her hospital. Swing on down to Texas and we can x-ray it.
Seriously
If you think it could be broke , Get it seen about! If it is broke and heels up funny ,it will have to be rebroke to set up right.

Yes it's probably broken, but you need to get it x-rayed to be sure. I've broken my right wrist twice. Same symtoms you describe, you can still move it but it's swollen and hurts like heck.

Just like a real doctor would tell you over the phone "I can't tell without examining your hand in person". We on the Internet can't tell either.
I've been an EMT-D for over ten years and am comfortable suggesting you have it looked at by a professional. If it's not broken, good deal.
As it stands, it could very well be broken and with all the dawdling on-line, could be mending stupid requiring "Re-Breaking" so it could be set correctly. The possible jagged edges of the fracture pose great threat of damaging adjacent nerve tissues and blood vessels, . . . nevermind infection. This is NOT a good way of getting out of cutting the lawn.
With that, you need to fill out a form stating you understand the risks involved with not going to a physician as well as releasing all of us from any liability should you grow a third hand out of your head.

My mother-in-law broke hers last month. Who would have thought it wasn't a good idea for a 59 year old woman, to use a stool to climb onto the kitchen counter to fix the curtain, while home alone wasn't a good idea. She missed the stool coming down and fell. She thought she just took a tumble, but then looked at her wrist.
Like everyone said, get it x-rayed.
You don't have to be tough, it's not football season.
