Mornin' all!
Christmas came to my home this morning! I have to go back to jail starting tomorrow so Santa came a bit early. Kids are very excited about all the new toys they just recieved and already enjoying them. They were kind enough to get thier old man a new pair of slippers and a belt buckle. Both perfect and much needed.
Gonna head over to my Grandpa's place in a bit to cook some Christmas dinner for him. We're the only ones in town this year so he's celebrating early with us. He picked up a delicious looking spiral ham.....
Merry Christmas DTR! I hope your's is as blessed as mine!

Uncle Sasquatch, boy, the photo albums are never going to be the same.
He'll have some lame excuse, mark my words!
Hey, BTW, the little 'multiple quote' buttons aren't working. I clicked on it to quote you in this post but it wouldn't turn red or quote your post when I clicked on 'Post Reply'. Smilies aren't working either. Just thought you'd want to know, being the high level administrator that you are!

Evening DTR.
Ice storm heading through today, roads are starting to get slick. Started out at rain and now its freezing rain.
Got the hood of the tractor today, cleaned it up and took the grill assmbly out. Did a damage assessment to it and let dad know how much he messed up on it. Actually its not that bad. Did a little heating and pounding to it today, got it fairly close to straight now. Got a little more work to do on it before I blast it and refinish it.

I have to replace the manifolds as there aren't much of them left! I'd like to address a few seal issues too as long as I have the thing torn apart. Bolts that hold the manifold to the head are or will be broken off tho, so I've been putting this project off.

That wouldn't take much!
Hey, I DID check on the hydraulic stuff for you. You were right, too expensive. He suggested something tho; run the blower off a 18 or 20 HP motor of it's own. You'll have to reduce the speed down to 540 RPM's anyway so a couple of multi-belt pulleys will do the trick just fine. Little one on the motor and a bigger one on the blower.
