Here is a link that he provided to us at the bombers discussing the conection: http://www.canlyme.com/martz.html Rob was one great guy it seemed everybody he met became his new best friend.....he was my brother John's best friend they lived near each other and seem to have everything in common, infact he even found a husband for his sister-in-law were he worked at the FAA. As Rob was 49 years old, he would have been eligible to retire from the FAA at 50 (this year), which he fully intended to do (God willing). That would have been after his next birthday which would have been November 23rd, 2005. I would like to ask you for prayers to support Jan, Bridget, and family This was his gift to us: http://www.nwbombers.com/ Rob Hanson 1957 - 2005 You will be missed..... |

wow cool. I was a controller too. I had no idea.

I got to meet Rob (and many of the NWBombers) shortly before I moved from the Seattle area.
Everything said & written about him is the honest truth. He warmly embraced my son & me when I joined them on a Bombvoy to BD Dyno Days and again at a BOMB party at his house. He touched the lives of many people in his short 49 years. -John |
Sounds like we lost a good one
