You can plug your MP3 player directly into the amp. Just need a $2 minijack-to-RCA cable.

If you have a 700 them I wouldn't worry about power.
And most guys in our group put the Rhino on a charger overnight while we're camping.

Thanks man!!! I agree, I didn't want to have to do another battery, I have a trickle charger that would be perfect, and its small, I figured i could just do a good charge overnight.

Keep the ideas coming guys, I know ya'll all either have them or want them lol!!

Looks like the time is getting closer. the more I research the more convincing the Tractor Tunes setup looks, the stereo is a Pioneer DEH P2900MP with 2 Aquavibe speakers, which have got good ratings as a great bang for the buck. What I like is the outputs, since we want to incorporate a 10" sub we already have it will be simplified and easy to hook up. and the option to add another set of speakers are always there. But for now, I think it will be great. I have a set of tweeters that will brighten things up and hopefully it will be pretty nice. Any of ya'll use Tractor Tunes? They are made for UTVs and Tractors, so I'd believe they are pretty impact resistant.

Thoughts??????????

Try high lifter's forums if you are still looking for ideas. Someone on here directed me to that site, and there's quite a bit of traffic, and everyone stays pretty positive. They have come up with some pretty sweet homemade stereo setups for regular ATV's. They are using 6" PVC with 6" speakers in the ends of the pipes, with a small amp in between. Plug your MP3 player into the amp, and there ya have it, a watertight stereo you can mount to your rack. Not sure how it would work in a side x side, but its a suggestion you can possibly play with.

I'm gonna have to check into that, thanks! I want to go custom, but with all i want to do I don't see it as beneficial for me. The Tractor Tunes has a really nice Pioneer radio thats ipod/mp3 ready, and has the rca outputs I want. See I still want to use the sub and box i have in conjunction, and I need a radio to signal the sub amp. I can also add another set of speakers down the road if i want, like the sound wedge or something...

I'd really hate to get rid of the roof i have, don't want to waste it going custom, so it seems everything points to the tractor tunes, since it will mount to the roof.

Yea but no info available for the Rhino, and all Probox will tell me is soon. I used to be a beta tester for Probox. But don't want to spend over 400 bucks and I'm not sure what probox will quote me.
