Quick Question

Hey guys and gals,

I have a quick question for you what is the legal age in the United States to purchase a vehicle. Here in Canada it is 18 years of age.

Thanks,
Mark

I see you guys are saying 18yrs old? Maybe if differs from state to state. But here in PA I'm positive you can be 16 and have a car registered in your own name without a parents signature. Because I had 3 cars registered in my name when I was 16. When i was 17 I had 4, and now I'm 19 with 5 in my name. Sort of interesting, actually, i never knew you had to be 18 some places. Learned something new.

My fil purchased one and hid it from his mom when he was 7. That was along time ago. He's actually done quite a few things in his day.

It depends on the state, here in Texas, a 16 year old can buy and register a car in his or her name.

I don't think you have to be 18 to buy your own vehicle in Canada. Most of the people that I went to highschool with had their own car in grade 10 and 11.

Where are you from in Canada?
