Prayer request

I am asking for your prayers. I have never done this for myself, but I do believe in the power of prayer.

Recently I have lost my family due to seperation/pending divorce. No, she isnt coming back, there is NO hope for that, due to the situation. The one woman that I truely loved, the one that I committed my life too, decided to quit on myself and my love. I had done everything in my power to keep things going but to no avail. I have been trying to maintain a positive attitude but seem to be going down hill. I have seeked help from counselors and doctors, but the internal pain I have felt, I cant seem to correct/fix. I am trying to find some light at the end of the tunnel, but it just isnt there.

This is an extremely hard time for me. I have been through a divorce before but never been this emotionally attached to anyone in my life.

To top it all off, a best friend of mine is in the hospital, probably going to die sometime in the near future. A friend of 25 years that I am proud to know, will no longer be there for me.

I believe in God, and have asked him for help as well. Please say a prayer for my friend and myself. Thanks

A divorce is a hard thing.

Time will help, and it is good that you are seeking out help from councelors.

Be sure to go spend time doing the things you enjoy, even if you have to force yourself at first.

Brother the power of prayer is a great thing. I am going through a divorce right now and know how you feel, to a degree. I will be praying and will have others also pray for you. Just remember, All things, even if we don't see it right now, work towards the Glory of God.

I am sure you have others that are closer to you to talk to but if you want to call me just send me a pm and I will give you my number.

Chris

In situations like this is best to ask God for peace and understanding to focus on him and all the good things hes doen in your life and still is doing even if you cant see it Remember all things work together for the good or those WHO LOVE HIM. If you lonly im sure you know somone else who is lonley you should go be a friend to them It will be hard of course God never promised us an easy road just promisses us what is at the end of it if we follow him. stay posotive and hopefull

Ill be praying for you

Prayers sent Brother. as hard as it may seem, try doing the things that you've always enjoyed, and realize that this will pass and there are still lots of amazing things that God and life have in store for you.
here's a great book you might want to pick up- it'll help you understand so much of what you're going through:

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

Thought this may help.

The Light is there

The Light is there at the end of the tunnel you just got to stay focused on it. I too went through a time just as you are . I had nothing but the clothes on my back , living in a strange city ,no transportation, no tools to make a living with. I owed every one and my wife had run off with someone.I owed 100,000 dollars to the IRS on top of that! I thought my life was over and had no hope. I turned to the Lord and He took care of me . And it took some time but He restored my life and gave me more than I ever thought I could have. He can do the same for you. The great news is He is in the restoration business if you will give Him the chance.I know the emotional pain is incredible it is like having your heart dug out with a dull spoon. It was hard to even function at work or anything else. Try to keep your mind occupied and take it one day at a time. It will get better with time . I will keep you in our prayers. It is tough, but you will get through it and God can help you.

Prayer sent. Though you've heard it many times before, time will help ease your pain along with the good company of friends.
