I voted "no, I don't have time for another forum".

I don't know how some of you guys can spend more time on even THIS forum than I do. I spend probably 2 hours a day here. Sometimes more. And I still don't always get to read everything I want to read.

I have visited the political forum once or twice, but I just don't have time to get involved. And I am way more interested in our trucks than politics and the arguments that go with it. If you have the interest and the free time, then go for it. I appreciate Jack making it available for those that want to participate.

Yeah, I'm on there, but the DTR keeps me pretty busy... We need more members over there to make it worthwhile, but I'm not smart enough on the politics side of things to be in the loop over there.

Been there, but you are not going to change anyone's warped (hey, if you don't agree with me, you are warped ) ideas on a forum. See, I am warped too. Most people stay with how they were raised and the principles they grew up in - - unless they went to a very liberal college, then they come out screwed up. A lot depends on the work the parents did, were they independent business people or union? So, how do you do anything with ideas inbred so deep on a forum?

Yep, but no time to be over there.
FiverBob, believe it or not, some Libbies turn uber-conservative when they hit real life, others just continue to steal the sweat off of workers brows......

I used to go over there, it gets annoying in a hurry though.

You post a two sentence opinion and get replies that are 6 paragraphs in length.
Some of the regulars over there are just SO snide and cocky I don't have time to read their babbling.

BUT! I am really pleased that the site exists, even if solely for the purpose of keeping those types off of this site.
Honestly, I used to get yelled at by Lary (.....and Ed and other Mods & Admins) about twice a month for taking things too far here, so not having ANY political discussion at all is the best policy for us here.

Riddle: What's more annoying than a politician?

Answer: Nothing!!!

We are no longer a gov't of the people, by the people, for the people. Yes, I vote every time but what's the difference if the courts overrule.

The elites in Washington don't give 2 cents about us common folk.

Wrong.

Anyone screaming their one sided political noise at ther people. Labeling what they don't understand and being unable to listen.

That's annoying and entirely unproductive. The louder someone gets the less they are heard.
