Please help DTR help little Lisa!

Lisa is a beautiful 5 year old child, her parents have all the same dreams and desires for little Lisa's future, that each of us have for our own children. Unfortunately Lisa's future is not going to be an easy one.
You see Lisa has been diagnosed as Autistic, and she can not relate to our world the same way that most children do. For those of you not aware of what Autism is, The movie "Rainman" with Dustin Hoffman was based on a person who was Autistic. That example is not a perfect one as Autism is different in each case, but hopefully it will give you a basic idea of what her life can be everyday.
There is hope for Lisa, a new technique utilizing "Live Dolphins" in therapy has shown amazing results for many children who also suffer with Lisa's condition. I will not attempt to explain how it works, only that the Dolphins can communicate with the child on a level we do not understand, and this communication seems to help unlock doors in the child's mind so that he or she can then live a much more fulfilling life.
Our own DTR member AlpineRam (Marcuz Bisanz) lives in Austria. He has donated many long arduous hours of his time, working with his friends to raise money for little Lisa so that she can come to the USA for this exciting new treatment.
Markus has long been one of our more vocal members, and many of us have not always agreed with his post's, including myself. But his respectful manner in the way that he makes his comments, leaves us to respect both him and his opinion, regardless the subject matter.
Markus has become a very valuable member to the DTR and more importantly, a wonderful human being in his efforts to raise $10,000 euros to help Lisa and her parents fly to Florida for treatment. On a personal basis I am proud to call Markus Bisanz my friend as we have communicated in length on this subject.
The job is not done though! and I have decided to break the rules of no solicitation here on the DTR, for what I think is a very important and worthwhile endeavor. Lisa still needs our help as once they arrive at the Miami airport, they will need transportation.
So I am asking you, the members of DTR, to do something nice for a little girl in these troubled times we live in. Help me raise enough money so we can have a rental car waiting for lisa and her Parents when they arrive in June. And if we are able to raise more than the cost of the rental, then we will be able to give them a little spending money to use while they are here.
A small donation can really make a big difference in this lovely little girls life, lets show her that the members of DTR care about children no matter where they live. Please send a donation right away so that I can get it to Lisa's parents in time for their arrival in June. $5.00 or $10.00 dollar's from several members can really go along way here toward a rental car.
Please won't you take a moment to help Lisa?
Send your Donation payable to

I will see that every penney goes to this child and her family.
And I thank each and everyone of you who take time to read this post. We go through our daily lives for the most part unaware of how much we can help when teaming our resources together. And I know that each of you will feel the same wonderful feeling I do now by placing the first $25.00 donation in to this envelope for Lisa.
God bless

You can count on me. My check is on its way.

Sometimes some of these treatments sound a little far fetched, but I have seen the reaction on parents' faces when something "connects" with their child. We were helped out by friends and co-workers for some treatments for our daughter who has severe cerebral palsy. So the money I send is from Megan to Lisa. She may not be able to use her arms and legs very much but she sure is cute.

Hey TOP, do we have time to take up a collection at our get-together on the 19th, or is time of the essence?
If so, WADTR will get a contribution out asap, and perhaps we can improve upon it later. There will surely be continuing costs.
