The price of the PS3 won't buy half a new turbo...
When a computer hardware site makes fun of you, you know you suck...Check this out.$15,100 for a ps3?!?!?!?

This one is from overclockers.com
In memory of those lost during the siege
Imagine . . .
Thirty five years ago, John Lennon wrote "Imagine."
Today, I'd like to add a wish. Imagine the no-line pictures were taken two hours before the PS3 went on sale, and the barricades were being removed because they never were needed.
Imagine people saying, "We're not going to play cannon fodder for your media event." Imagine people saying, "We're not going to pay a lot for that PS3, and especially not on eBay."
Imagine people saying, "We have to sit out in the cold and rain to pay an arm and a leg for something that you can't make enough of? Later for you."
Imagine people saying, "No, we're not going to jump through hoops to buy the half-baked version of this."
Imagine parents saying to their kids, "I'll tell you when you're going to get it, not you nor Santa nor the TV set." Imagine the kids and post-kids finding it silly and shallow to think that things somehow make you a better person.
Imagine people saying, "This is just so uncool to do this to people."
Imagine people saying, "I'm not going to be a tool."
What would Sony do? What would the media do? I bet Sony would hire people to stand on line for them.
And if they did, would the media tell?
And then maybe, just maybe after that, companies would stop dissing their customers.
No, we're not against things. Things can make your life better, but things never make you better. That's the problem, that is what is really being sold here, and that's what you have to resist.
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Ed
Best line is the "I'm not going to be a tool".
this is not meant to offend anybody named tool unless said person is a tool. But not if they like the band tool

Thats MR Hoss to you buddy!
This is all pretty silly to me, but I must admit that playing NCAA Football 2005 on my XBOX ispretty fun when I feel like sitting around in my underwear doing nothing.
Still...$600 for a gaming system? That seems pricey to me.

I think that youtube video was filmed at Young/Dundas inToronto.
They actually had homeless guys being paid to line up for others. However, the homeless were making good coin.
I wish I would have thought of lining up and selling on ebay. I don't care who you are, if you can find a way to make 500-1000% on an investment that takes only about a day of your investment....good deal for you.

Well, as posted earlier, My wife and her brother stood in line for 8 hours and they both got one for $599 It went on ebay yeasterday and the bidding is already up to $1,600. $1,000 for 8 hours of doing nothing isn't a bad payday.
We are going to wait till the middle of December to put the other one on ebay, once all the others are sold. I figure it will go for even more then, when people get desperate for one for Christmas...
Exploiting?? No Way, Supply and Demand , Maybe...
Although I agree that these things are useless, Call to Duty is a kick A** !! game...
