Going to miss him. I can remember seeing his short TV news editorials back when I was a kid, a long long time ago.....

I was saddened to hear that Paul Harvey had died.

He was a great commentator, a great American and I really enjoyed listening to his program. I am definitely going to miss his voice on the radio.

I'm with you John. I used to listen to him when i was 9/10 years old while still living in Illinois. He came on i believe WGN radio not tv. I loved his real life stories. He was a dedicated and a honest to goodnes news man,not a talking head like the boneheads on the news today. The last i heard his son was taking over the reins of his show. I'm sure he will continue the tradition. I'm also glad he won't be here to see where this country is going...I believe he would still give a positive and uplifting story regardless of what's going on. Thank You Paul Harvey and may your soul rest in peace and your family find comfort in your love for your god and country!

Actually, maybe someone in the media who could find something positive and uplifting to say is what the country needs.

Every form of media seems to be beating the doom and gloom drum, but the reality of the situation doesn't hold a candle to the great depression. I suspect Mr. Harvey would have a couple "rest of the story" pieces about people who rose to great success from the depression.
