I'm looking to take a Road Trip with Wifey from Dec 28-Jan 01.

Looking at the Fla area 'cuz it's gotta be warmer there than here.

Looking to crash on the beach and sip magaritas. ;D

Any suggestions on cities/hotels that won't cost an arm & a leg, but are nice & beachfront?

Need to make reservations kinda ASAP

This will be a combo Christmas/Birthday gift for Wifey.

St. Augustine is beautiful. I would relocate there in a heart beat. New Smyrna Beach is nice. I prefer the East cost over the West. Then you have the usual main stream places....Daytona, Coa Coa and so on....will be a nice trip. Enjoy.

i usually stay at the hilton just down the road. looks like a nice place. make sure you do dinner at don shulas place in the hilton, best tuna in the u.s. hope for warmer weather, it was 40 low and 60 high in miami on the 18th should be better by then. take wife to south beach to shop.and have fun i always do.
