Which one is correct? KBB, Edmunds, NADA?

I am trying to sell my friend's Excursion and the three big sites where you can get the values are so far apart that I still don't know what it's worth! Between the three of them there is a $10,000 difference from the lowest to the highest. Does anyone know which is considered the accurate one?

Whatever someone is willing to pay is the most accurate.

Most places here use NADA. The only time you see KBB is when they have it listed under the KBB price.

We use NADA around here. A few places will pull up KBB... and I find most places just look at you funny when you mention Edmunds. So take that for what its worth...

My wife used to work at bank, she said they went by NADA.

I usually take an average of the three.

And my truck recently went up in value according to two of them!! Whoo hoo!

Have a good one.

Car dealerships use this site:
http://www.manheim.com/

This site is a live update of what cars are selling for at auction, so its a good predictor of what a car is valued at.

I wish Edmunds was the correct one because they are the ones telling me this thing is worth almost $40,000.00!! LOL

Thanks for the replies. I thought NADA was the most accurate of the three....

Kbb trade in value in 'good shape'.

If you borrow from a bank they'll use NADA and if you buy from a dealer they'll use NADA.

I just do a search and take the average of what the vehicle is going for in the local auto trader/paper then take $1000 off for a quick sale.
