Ok here cometh the rant

So here I am on my way home from work today, I make it to less than a minute from the house. Come to a 4 way intersection with green light in my favor. old guy in Chevy pickup lines up to make a right on red and does not stop, this is where it gets ugly (our anti lock brakes suck some big you know what. Wham, I hit this guy just in front of his drivers door and kill his whole fender and wheel take a real good hit, me i got a scratch down my passenger door and killed the bumper. This is where it gets uglier, I pull over and get out and so does he, comes to me and asks if I'm ok I say I think so (I had back surgery a couple of months ago). Anyhow his passenger walks around and looks at my damage and says not bad at all, he says let me get my insurance info, so I got and get a pen and paper out of center council, and when I turn around the SOB is taking off, now what 70 yr old man does a stunt like this I think, Well light turns green and alot of cars go so I can't follow but I got his LP #, ( Called my sherrif buddy) and tell him what happened and what direction he was going and gave him what info I had. He came to me and we talked for a few when I heard across his radio some good news, they did not stop him but got good info from me and had what they needed to go and get him. Man I just wanna rip his tounge out and slap him in the face with it!

Also a real good reason to keep one of the "One-Use" disposable cameras in the glovebox.

Wow, I think I phrased my response wrong. I meant I keep the 3-pack NEXT to the "something else" in the glove box.

Mark,
Think of the bright side. Work a deal with the insurance company to replace the factory bumper with an aftermarket bullbar.

Mark,
I'm glad you are ok and that the truck is still driveable. Sounds like cosmetic damage, nothing too serious. Please keep us up to date on the outcome of the guy that ran.

At least you got the other driver's info.

He's gonna be in deep doo-doo when they catch him.
