Thats the same way they do it here in NC, do not touch or move the deer either, or you can/will be fined.

Wow, I wish that was the case here! I don't know how SD compares to other states, but it seems like here, the g f and p are a bunch of ******, making life miserable for landowners or anyone who keeps their year's catch of fish in the freezer. Licenses in general are very expensive, and a double tag landowner deer permit is $15 for two antlerless and $20 for one of each (I think). And don't even get me started on the praire dog thing. Hundreds of thousands of acres ruined and billions of tax dollars spent to accomidate a bunch of weasils (ferrets). Makes me sick!!!!!!!

Sorry for the rant, but I think that sometimes too much importance is put on wildlife!
