Getting a truck stolen really blows. If you've ever been thru it, you'd know. At least you got yours back with hopefully not too much done to it, and your insurance will fix everything. They should cover your components as long as you have all the receipts, especially with the pics of it installed.
When my 95 got stolen, I ended up in court and the thief stayed home. It is an odd world as your topic title suggest.
This brought up a discussion here at my work this morning. I vote we switch to real world laws. If you steal you loose a hand. You steal again you loose the other hand. If you kill, you get killed. You wouldn't have any more stolen trucks as soon as this was enforced.

Credit card number stolen this year.....yeah, just a wonderful world. Glad you got your ride back, I got mine back to they broke all the locks, ran out of gas and could not get the tank lock open...lucky me.

Hope your truck was not to bad off.

I'd need something reliable with good MPG's while running from the border patrol.
its kind of a crap shoot, you get a ford and the engine goes, or get a dodge and the tranny goes. chevies IFS cant take the beating off road, what to do what to do.

Steal a fully armored military Hummvee. Yeah, it runs slow and it'll eventually overheat and die. But the cops will have to use an anti-tank weapon to get you gotta it.

Well considering it bieng stolen it really isn't that bad, some AZ pin stryping, radio, amp, speakers gone all aftermarket some other minor issues. That's about it.

had 3 guys trying to break into my truck 2 yeas ago at my old house. ended up chasing all 3 of them down the road screaming "im going to kill you so help me god"

was rather funny cause the neighbours were out laughing. they eventually got caught.

one guy dropped his play boy magazine on the ground and came back an hour later to grab it.
