Nice world!

Well my truck got stolen last night. We had our boys birthday party and we took them to a small amusement park with 5 of their friends. We left at around 6pm and as i was walking up to my wifes jeep which my truck was parked next to I knew exactly what happened and my heart just sank!

I finally decided to keep it instead of trading in on a 2008 ,do to the extrodinary MPG i was getting and all the 2008's MPG horror stories that i read about, I was happy with my decision.

Sorry about the bad luck.

Unfortunately that is a very common problem in that area. Just read on a RV site of a guy having his F250 stolen in the Phoenix area. Big time drug and people smuggling going on along that border and the bad guys want the rigs that can handle the weight and have the power. I bet that the Revalco company in that area does a good business.

Cop said, # 1 & 2 most stolen vehicles are dodge and ford diesels.

If I'm going drug running, why would I steal a Ford?

I'd need something reliable with good MPG's while running from the border patrol.

Apparently there are less than brilliant people involved in the smuggling racket too.

Thanks fellas. What is worrying me is the lease was up this october. I was planning on buying the vehicle then. If i'm upside dwon i will be paying the remainder on a vehicle i no longer have!

I think i'm going to get screwed on the lift, wheels, sound system etc... The insurance company didn't know i had thoise items. I screwed up and didn't purchase extra insurance . I do have pictures of that stuff on the truck but not sure what the insurance is going to do?

Well I heard from the police today they actually found my truck the same day it was stolen. It was on a indian reservation. Lady said all she sees is ignition damage and missing stereo.

I will be going through this truck with a fine tooth comb any scratches, alighnment anything will be repaired through my insurance.

Another reason I am going to be getting a manual: most thief's can't drive stick!

Sorry this happened though, I hope they find it or the people.
