New Neighbor with Dog
I just had a new neighbor move in with a dog a big dog. Everyday he lets his dog take a dump in front of my house and doesn't pick it up. I have to pick it up before my wife or kid steps in it and tracks it into our home. I told him about it but he still lets dog go there and do its business. I have a dog and cats and always clean up after them when I walk the dog. Any suggestions on how I can stop this before it gets ugly and someone gets hurt. He always walks his dog when I'm not home or at night when I'm sleeping.

Collect it in a paper bag, set it on his front porch late in the evening, set it on fire, ring the door bell, and RUN like you know what.

Get him on camera.....BEFORE you confront him about it....showing him a photo of him standing there with his dog on a leash crapping in your yard pretty much takes away the "I didn't do it" argument.
This will come in handy if law enforcement becomes involved as well

I went to my towns web site but couldn't find ordinance for not picking up after your dog. I guess I will have to call them up and ask. I did see him today letting his dog go and I said you will be picking that up. He didn't so it's now in his front yard. I guess the next step will be getting him on camera then calling the police and showing them the dirty deed so he can get sited for it.

Words of an old union activist buddy of mine. Had to do with cigarette butts on our shop floor. He told the shop foreman " the next time one of your guys throws a cigarette butt on my floor, I'm going to come in here and crap on your desk"
Again, not the same exact situation, but it gets the point across. Neighbours are much the same, explain action and consequence, they tend to clean up their act.
Remember, it's not the dog, it's the trainer.
