If no one gets Puerto Rico covered, I can probably take care of that one.

I also should have India and Switzerland covered (gotta send another reminder to a co-worker). Might even have one coming from Tokyo.

So where are the Okies? Am I going to have to drive a little ways north and drop one in the mail?

You can count PA and NJ in this weekend. I have to visit my folks so sending one out should not be a problem..

I'll send another one from Texas and ask my son to send one from the from the fine 10th Mountain Div stationed in Bagdad, Iraq. That will give them something to talk about

I could't find one around here where we live (small town) but found one while we were out of town last week at the lake. Mailed it yesterday from AR.

HERE IS AN UPDATE!!!!!

The classroom is a buzz of excitement!! The kids can't wait to see where Tristen's next cards are coming from...I guess a couple of kids told their Mom and Dads about Tristen's cards and now some of their other parents are getting in on the band wagon!! The response from all of you is so much more than I could have imagined, just reading the posts really says it all about the people on this site ! ! ! !

I spoke with the teacher this week and She said that the only states that she is missing is New Mexico, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Deleware. She is really impressed with the amount of cards coming in for Tristen ! She has assured me that he will get all of the cards with his name on them at the end of the year ( June).

She also informed me that she will be doing this project every year for any of you that might want to be regular senders.... She asks that if you do, please send the cards to her, and at the end of the year she will divide them up equally among the children.
Evidently she started this project in September, I wish I had known about it then, I can only imagine how many cards his classroom would have ! !

Again, THANK YOU ALL, so much for your time, money and efforts to help Tristen's class out with this. I do appreciate it tremendously!!

There is still time.. June 3rd is the last day of school...for anyone who is still interested in sending a post card in...

Thanks Again,

Dave Nash

I spent 7 years in Germany myself...3 in Wiesbaden, and 4 in Zweibrucken...just over the hill from you...I used to drive through Landstuhl to get to Ramstein, it was easier than going all the way around by Autobahn..
I sure do envy you...that is such a beautiful area...I still can't believe that I got paid to be there...
Enjoy it while you can...it comes to an end wayyyyyyy too fast, In my opinion.

Thank you!!!
