Need help on a '92 Ford ranger.

Have a '92 ford ranger with a really bad oil leak. Looked under it and found out that the front of the pan gasket is sticking out from under the timing cover. Does anyone know if the pan gasket can be replaced with out lifting the motor? Maybe just remove the crossmember. Any advice would be a big help.

honestly hadn't looked, but most vehicles you can pull the motor mount bolts and lift the engine enough for the pan to clear.
