After having an accident with my new 2007. AllState will only fix and not total the Truck. The Total repair cost are $26798.00 to start. They will only total the truck if it gets to $32000.00.
What should I do next with all state? The truck will never be fixed right!!!!!

Tell them it would probably save them more money if they opted for a heavy duty, after market bumper and a nice, durable flat bed. Might even reduce the potential for personal injury in a future crash that would be costly for them. VAlue would be up if you did want to sell I would think.

The initial estimate is just that an estimate, there is always suplimental damages once the truck goes on the frame machine. From the pictures you posted I would be VERY surprised if they could not find 5k in additional damages.
Good luck, Tim

Doesn't look 28k bad but I don't know.
Allstate is terrible like that. My 7.3 powerstorke was stolen a few years ago and stripped down to almost to the frame and they fixed it!!! It was missing for 14 days so I was about to buy a new one (6.0 too!)
So some ways it was a blessing that I didn't wind up with a 6.0 huh.
