Mudflaps
Mudflaps
Anyone now of a good place to get mudflaps? Not the little splash gaurd type, the ones that all the truckers used to have naked ladies on. Thanks for the advise in advance.
We had a truck in the shop that had lost a flap when a tire blew.
While we were putting on a new tire, he walked across the street to, of all places, ACE hardware, and came back toting a brand-new flap, brackets and all.
He said they had a big stack of them.
The silouhettes will have to come from a truck stop, I-80, or the like.
These are about $50 shipped from www.summitracing.com

I have the Stainless polished ones. They come with all the brakets but you will need to do some minor bending to make them fit. Go to the site and search "Deflecta-Shield 930"

Allright, thanks guys, I am trying to decide if I even want to put them on. Not sure about the way they are going to look. I guess it will depend on the price. Anybody have some pics of thier 2nd gen. Ctd with flaps?

Nice, shiney chrome on those flaps, BS! I can see you little boots and levi clad legs in them! Wish my mirrors worked that good!

HA!!! Same as me, I wear the PRCA ones, though. Those look like the soft tag ones... I could very well be wrong, I've been known to be before. Did you see the turkey I fried for you yesterday? I think that it was on the, "What are you thankful for," thread. (not to hyjack a good mudflap thread...)

I was thinking of mounting mine closer to the rear bumper, and make them remove able. Then when I want them on to pull a trailer that I need to keep semi-clean, or just because I want them on, I can put them on, or take them off when I don't kneed/want them on.
