Sony Walkman S-540 Series 16 GB Video MP3 Player (Black)

Sony Walkman NWZS545BLK 16 GB Video MP3 Player (Black)

Whats the major difference in these two....I had planed on ordering the S series, but for some reason amazon don't list the S in 16 gig anymore....even listing all out of stock...

I have a 20gb Creative Zen and have been pleased with it. I have computer speakers set up all over the house so I can use it whenever, like during shower time. It is also the primary for my rhino, so I've got to see it bear some weather. I'm happy with it. My only downer is i don't like the finger scroll, its really particular. Other than that I love it.

nothing.
the antonline link refers to a NWZ-S545BLK

From the research I have done on sony walkmans, On the highlevel, they have an E, S, and Z series. the numbers seem to be revision, followed by the color.
E is their base model
S is the next in line
X is the touch screen
Z is the top.

each model gets different battery life, some different software features, different control features and it seems different levels of memory. E will have like 4, 8, and 16 where the Z will have 16 and 32.

I just had to replace the needle in my Garrard from moving it too fast. Cost me over 20 bucks. This new technology can be expensive.

Sorry, had to look it up. Thought mp3 was an abbreviation for music player 33 rpm. I know, dumb.
One of my kids in Seattle has an ipod Nano with a Bluetooth adapter with wireless headphones. I could not believe how well it sounded. Didn’t ask him how much it was but I liked it!

I have had a 4 gig iPod nano for several years. It makes a great pertable music player in the car & such. Takes forever to get tired of even 4 gigs of music. ;-)
