Wow, I missed a whole 5 days here. Between work and, well, more work I've just not had any time. What ever happened to slowing down and enjoying life.....everything these days is so hectic....drives me nuts. Work (my job) is done for 3 more days, got class starting back today, and put my new fancy clutch in last Friday morning.....I'm tired....went 3 days with only 9 hrs of sleep and let me tell ya, Labor Day (Monday) was renamed Day of Rest at my house. Woke up this morning feeling like a million bucks.....now, if I could only find where I put that million bucks I'd be doing a lot better!!!

Morning folks.....Chaikwa good job on the brew this morning, the coffee pots empty and I'm still resting, can you get up and go make some more? Pretty please with bacon sprinkles in your ice cream?

I drive other people nuts by driving 55 instead of the 75-85 the rest of these ID10T's do. It's a long drive and I like to enjoy the scenery.
The reason why you can't find that million is it has already been taxed. You still owe the balance.
Sorry if I sound like I'm ranting (well I am), but I have wasted soo much of my life waiting on other people who never show up or return calls or messages. Waiting on a guy to finish my transmission, this is now week 5. Waiting on a guy that has 1st gen parts, but forgets to calls me back when he is home and can do the deal. Waiting on another guy to respond to replies and PMs about some parts he has. ARGGGGGGGG!

I like that drive on weekdays between 0900 and 1100 and during the summer after about 2200.
Otherwise (as you know) I feel like killing people.

Heidi's post reminded me of Camel lips.
Camel lips reminded me of Yasser Arafat.
Yasser Arafat reminds me of a bottle of Ouzo, raw pork chops and a girl at a party I went to in the mid seventies.
Dang it Heidi, you are supposed to be on vacation and not reminding people of the seventies.
Bacon, I need bacon.

Evening DTR.

Work went well today, although productivity was sluggish for most of the day.

dropped off the starter and alt after work to get rebuilt. Should be getting them back thursday afternoon.

Made tacos tonight for dinner. Now relaxing for the rest of the evening and watching Crimson Tide on AMC.

Im not sure if they eat the lips.
What I find works best is to put a decaf K-cup in my keurig, pour a 1/2 mug of bailey's and run the keurig on the small cup setting. When you drain about a 1/3 of the cup, top it off with bailey's again and finish it off...

Mmmmmm, Bailey's. I haven't had that in years.
And during my recent no alcohol while dieting effort I should be able to drink it because theoretically (notice I didnt say technically) it isn't booze.
If ya can't taste it, it doesnt exist.

Ignore is right. For one of the calls, I was on hold out of Texas and after 45 minutes it finally informed me that they had closed.
And Im "A valued Customer".
Wonder how they treat people they dont like?

You are not going to ruin my night!!
I just came across the music for the early 80's C-64 video game "Mule" and have been calling up friends from that time to ruin their evening.
In the winter of 83 we used to play that game all night long .
We were morons.

The website has a bunch of old video game music.

Might actually get some Fall weather this weekend.....50% chance of storms and a high of 89* on Saturday!!!! Can't wait to see if that really happens.

Is there a certain someone here that might need my grass clippins' to feed their sheep?????

Been hot and moist around here for weeks. Got up this morning to a little rain and a nice welcome cold front.

Then a customer called, internet, e-mail, phones all down. I told them that it was probably a temporary telephone company problem, but they insisted I came in. Sure 'nough, by the time I got there, all was working again. All the digital service had gone down for about 20 minutes.

I work too hard. These folks are so used to fast trouble free service that they go into a tizzy when there's a hiccup of any kind.

I figure a stray lightning strike locked up a phone company router for a bit.
