Bobcat makes a nice machine, I watched a Mini X get assembled the other day at the Gwinner plant, I work for them so I may lean to one side a little more then some.

I don't know if it includes the trailer. How much is the trailer worth? What size should I be looking for to complete my projects? I'm thinking about buying something like this for my dad, and maybe he can get some jobs on the side. He was made to be a heavy equipment operator, but just found out too late in life.

Stick length is the amount of boom (how far you can dig down to, or reach with the bucket) the machine has.

Even without the trailer, for $29k you'd be stealing it from him. For that model brand new that mini runs about $65k to $70k, and with only 700 hours on it it's worth about $35k to $37k.

My folks used to buy and sell industrial equipment, so some of that knowledge has rubbed off on me.
