Mexico info

Some of you have been asking me for info about Mexico. One source of news that may be of interest to you gringos is a monthly magazine printed in English called "El Ojo del Lago" The eye of the lake. Lake Chapala is the largest lake in Mexico and the town of Chapala is located on the shores of lake Chapala. This magazine is geared towrds the retirees living there.
The web site to view this magazine is commercial so will give you a lot of additional info. Go to www.chapala.com and enjoy this site every month. The Ojo will give you a lot of in depth info of what it is like to live down here.
Enjoy.

Re:Mexico info

Looks like a nice area Stan. I love the mountains down there, was in Puerto Vallarta some years back, and ventured inland that way. Kind people.

Re:Mexico info

It IS a nice area. But so are other areas in Mexico. Genereally the Mexicans are really nice people, just with different habits and culture to us. PV is nice but kinda touristy. I tend to stay away from the areas the tourist go to. They pump the prices up too much. The mountain areas of Mexico are great. Love them!!!
