manicure?????
manicure?????
So, my nephew is coming out to Colorado to get married. My wife has been setting up all the stuff for the wedding. I looked at her notes and it said " a nice manicure for Bob " (not real name). Granted its his wedding, but a manicure ? I don't no of any men who get these. can't you just clip your nails? seems kinda girly to me. My wife got POed when I wrote " and a new pair of pink panties " on her notes.

I can see a shave and a haircut, but a manicure? Come on! If he goes through with that, he may as well have his toes done also. Might as well get the toe "waxing" done while he's there. As a good uncle, you might want to let him know on the down low what the girls have planned for him!
I have gotten a manicure before, one time the wife was getting one, and asked me to join her while we were in the mall. I did... not the worst experience in my life, but not something I'll do on my own accord.
I think that any guy that gets one on a regular basis either is a little sweet, or makes big money, and his image is that important to him.

I personally wouldn't pay for a manicure or anything similar, but I admit that years ago when my wife worked as a manicurist I loved when she'd give me a manicure and/or Pedicure. Had nothing to do with the looks or anything, it had to do with getting your fingers/hand/toes/feet massaged.

At least they call it a MANicure. You can use that to your advantage a bit. I consider a manicure using my pocket knife to clean the grease out from the underside of my nails after I'm done working on the truck.
He gets a discount!
I had a manicure/pedicure free with a vacation package last year. It wasn't bad, I thought the lady's arm was going to fall off with all the sanding to get the calluses off my hands and feet. It stayed clean and smooth for about a week but yea, not something I would pay to get done.
