The theft of about $40 in cash occurred Sunday afternoon on West Cornell as three girls, two 8-year-olds and one 9-year-old, were selling lemonade from a homemade stand outside their home. The suspects approached the girls and one grabbed a Mickey Mouse jewelry box containing their profits. "The family of the girls have been very grateful, and the public has been outraged," said Pontiac Police Sgt. Kevin Braddock. "We are still working on getting the third suspect in custody."
Johntae Breon Washington, 17, was charged with assault and battery after the little girls' mother was pushed in the face when she confronted them about the theft. Pontiac 50th District Judge Rhonda Gross ordered him to pay a $350 fine or serve time in the Oakland County Jail. Washington did not come up with the fine and will be incarcerated until Friday. .
The second suspect, Bario Stephon Johnson, 19, was charged with possession of marijuana for having a marijuana cigar behind his ear while talking with officers at the scene. Judge Gross gave him a $250 fine or 15 days in the Oakland County Jail. His fine was paid at the court and he was released until a future court date.

Certainly know what you mean. Last week or so, near the village of Wolverine, somebody had a cherry stand (cherry orchard country) along side the road and got held up at gun point for $150.
Hard labor is what these clowns need, hard labor, no tv, no weights, no blanket, no matress, no phones, no papers or magazines. Like the old days when criminal wasn't a career choice.

That's Oakland County. That crime is probably just a misdemeanor over there. At least it was Pontiac PD, so there was a complete investigation. If it was Detroit, you'd have never heard of this. Detroit's canning their 3rd Chief in about a year's time, too.
