Well, the ceremony was nice. There was a great turn out and I know he would have been proud. The weather cooperated and the funeral went off as well as it could. The local beer police have finished their investigation and ruled it as an accidental death. It was truly an unfortunate event but accidents happen. That doesn’t make me feel any better but this is something that I will have to live with the rest of my life.
He lived a good life. He brought many smiles and took pride in his job. He will be missed by all that knew him. I will always remember the almost perfect “Black & Tan” that was his last drink. He was cut down in the prime of his life. And I feel like I am to blame. I feel as if I will never be able to forgive myself. I know that he wouldn’t want me to feel this way so I will do the best that I can to carry on his legacy. I truly believe that is what he would want.
Lets all try to remember him in better times:

Thank you for all of your support during this terrible time of loss.
Britt

Missing Man Formation ceremonies got a little repetitive here this weekend..
I guess that now makes it a "missing formation" ceremony right?
K.
PS, get rid of that dangerous tile countertop! Certain death to anything vitreous.

He Lives Again!!!!!
Well, he's back. Got a new glass. He can't replace the old one but this one promised me that he would do everything he can to live up to his predecessor.
So raise one up boys and girls for the new kid on the block!

Welcome back my friend.... Welcome back!!!!

I lost a dear friend today. As some of you may remember from last night, my friend allowed me to make the almost perfect “Black & Tan”. Now my friend is gone. I had just finished washing him and ………. Excuse me………. I’ll be back…… in a minute……..
Okay…. Had to compose myself. As I finished washing him I set him on the counter, and through my on carelessness I accidentally knocked him over causing the terminal damage you see here. I don’t know how I am ever going to live with myself for being so careless. Many years of therapy I imagine.
It is going to be hard to imagine life without him. He was always there for me. Good times and bad. He had many friends and he will surely be missed by all. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request a moment of silence and maybe a toast in his honor.

You will be missed fallen soldier. You will be missed.

When one door closes another surely opens. It looks like the tears of loss and grieving can now change to tears of joy and laughter with your new soldier. May he fill often and provide you with a long friendship.

I thought Pabst Blue Ribbon was king of the rolling tin houses!
