Today is the tomorrow I worried about yesterday. Warm and some more light rain. Roxie and I are doing a lot of quality cat napping.

It finally happened
"The Company" is not renewing my hangar lease. I hope they can find me another one to work out of. All 3 of us remaining in the flight department are being moved temporarily to the main office across the street along with all the employees of a subsidiary company. After that, as I was told, our office will be relocated off the airport and our building sold. Don't know what they are going to do with the 30 years of garbage they have been storing in the hangar.

Kitty cuddling is always a good stress reliever. As far as hanging out my own shingle? No. I know a few that have tried it and found out the only kind of customers they get are the ones that don't pay up.
Last nights rain is freezing on the vehicles. Need to go into work and collect the 11 years of junk I've been storing in the hangar.

Sorry Cougar, but while you're cleaning, if you find a spare plane needing a home, I'll oblige!
Guess we are getting our first frost this weekend. Guess I better find the leaf blower and yard rake. Surrounded on all four sides by woods, so I guess the new P/T program is about to start.

Cougar, I really could use that plane, so please keep digging. I had a 172S lined up to take the Bride on a "look at the pretty leaves" trip this weekend. I just checked the schedule, and find the plane deadlined for a prop strike. The backup is getting a new engine. Guess I'll rake up a pile and say "ain't it pretty?" Oh well, no rental bill.......

Evening all, been wide open as usual. I finally got done in Florida this past week and got home Saturday night. While I was in Florida I had a great opportunity to meet one of the nicest guys on the board. Fiverbob and his bride shared an evening with me at their home. We got to talk trucks, construction and a little about life. We had a wonderful dinner too! Bob, sorry it took so long to get this up but I've been jumping rope, allot of rope. If you ever get in his area look Bob up, he's good people!

Good morning from a cool Paradise. The weather is changing and it is a tad cool as the sun comes up, but once it does it quickly warms up to the usual shorts day again.
Coffee and ph00 is ready. So is some fresh made corn bread.
Nice pic of a couple of old pharts.
Got back late yesterday afternoon from Puebla where I went to pick up an old car that had been donated to the orphanage. While I was there I went to Atlixco and did a tour of the Bearhawk factory. Nice place. Not many people seem to know that all the Bearhawk airplane kits are made in Mexico. They are doing a very good job there. Atlixco is also known as the city of flowers. Look it up. Fantastic climate and miles and miles of flowers are grown there. The factory is only about 16 miles from the famous Popocatépetl volcano. The weather was beautifully clear and could see the tops of all the mountains. Strange to see Popo puffing happily away and just a few miles away it's sister (Iztaccihuatl) with snow on the peak.

Another drizzly, dreary day with the pineapple express giving us above normal temps for this time of year.
Off to the shop to collect my paycheck and gather up my personal stuff.
