Kenneth Starr

Last night I was privileged to attend a function at which Judge Kenneth Starr was the key note speaker. It was a great pleasure to get to hear him and meet him. He's a great man and he had some neat things to share with those of us who were there.

Not that many of you care about this, but I thought it was kind of cool.

HOSS,

I am going to have to re-adjust my thinking of you.

Starr has been the scapegoat for many things - - he is a good man from all I know of him.

Bob, you're right on both accounts. This was a benefit dinner for Heritage Christian University in Alabama. Judge Starr is now the Dean of Pepperdine School of Law. Of course, he is most known for his report on the whole Clinton thing, but he is a great man and is involved with much bigger and better things than that whole mess. He is also a devout Christian...which of course is the most admirable thing about him (and the reason he was asked to speak at this function).

Anyway, it was fun.

By the way, when you start "re-adjusting" how you think of me, you'd better be careful.

Hoss - - we just luv ya, man.

I had read some great articles on the man and his strong Christian beliefs. And, I read an interesting article on how livid he was with the Clinton garbage going on right in the oval office. What a disgusting disgrace to that office. Where are we going as a nation when our highest leader has no more principles than that. Really scary. Like him or not, thank God for strong moral leadership we have seen from Bush.

Bob
