Anybody from there? I'll be heading there tomorrow for Turkey-day with my wife, 2 kids, and parents to visit my bro and his wife. Yep 6 of us in my dads Dodge mini-van....for 1000 miles! Any performance diesel shops around, I figure I'll be pretty bored come Monday. Nice town?? Anything to do or see?? my brother is not up on that kinda stuff. Hes a newbie there.

 

Nothing much there.....mostly a bedroom community now.

It is real close to the Texas Motor Speedway and a new Cabellas just opened on I35 near there.

 

New Cabelas...which exit?? North or south of Keller exit?? Also what is a bedroom community??

 

Don't remember exactly where it is, but I know it's south of the speedway. If you come down on 35w and don't see it, it will be south of your exit.

Bedroom communities are where they have built a lot of houses, but there are few businesses or industry around them. Most of the people there work toward Fort Worth, Dallas or Denton.

 

Its about exit 64 or 65
