Jack, that is one beautiful dog, I love German Shepards and miss the few that I had, The hardest thing I ever had to do in my life was take my dog to be put to sleep since he was 15 years old and couldnt walk any more, we got an extra year outa him with a series of steroids shots though

Life would really suck without dogs. Who is the first one to meet ya when ya get home? Who is the one that knows your havin a bad day and tries to make it better? Dumb animal? I dont think so.

I agree. Dogs make the world go around. I added a couple of pics of my mutts to my profile. I rescue pitbulls. Jack did you ever read about Sgt. Stubby? Interesting story. Sgt. Stubby was the first war dog to serve our country. If you're interested just google it. Jonah looks like he's ready to go to work.

Nice setup. I know you have been looking for quite a while. I'll just say thanks to Jonah for what he does. You too.

This one looks like he's saying
"It's OK boss......but where's the DVD player?"

Having met Jonah, I'll agree he's a really wonderful dog.

I'll bet that wet nose gets "prints" all over the place inside the cage. Great looking pooch. I love the darker colored shepards. Look at my pics to see my buddy.

Nice looking dog.

I that a shameless rayallen.com plug

Our police department use trucks with a shell and a cage in place of tailgate looks like an afterthought. But i like the set up you have in that cruiser Looks clean and professional.

we had to do that with our collie about 7-8 years ago. I hated it. It's unfortunate that they have such short lives. I would hang out with Jonah over most people I know.

That is what I was using prior to doing this. I hated it because when I wanted to pull the trailer, I had to spend 3 hrs taking all of the gear off the truck, and putting the hitch back in. Now I don't ever have to move my gear around, and he's got a good cool place where he can hang out while waiting to work. It's been real nice.

He's still a young buck. Unfortunately my oldest dog is now 15. I'm hoping she makes in another couple of years. It's always difficult saying goodbye to a great dog. Jonah has that spark in his eye! Looks like an awesome dog! Years ago I had a friend that had a belgian k-9 dog. It was out in the desert so they rigged a toyota 4 runner for the dog complete with air conditioning and a remote control to let the dog out from a distance if necessary if the officer needed help. It was a really nice set-up.

He sure has changed from that long legged thing with the over sized ears you posted a few years ago. That is a fine looking dog for sure. Looks like he is all business in the new ride too.
