Yup, temps suppose to drop again this week, Salmon have hit the rivers, might get the shotgun out this week with the clay pigeons, start enforcing a little discipline on the dog.

Spent the holiday weekend up north... "wait to start" stayed lit for 10-15 seconds. It was getting down to low 50s at night! ;D I love the Fall!

Re:It's that time of year again.........

Pulling over Cameron Pass (10,000' el.) in norhtern Colorado Friday evening at about 8:00 p.m., the overhead temp display said 43 degrees.

P.S. we camped that night on Rabbit Ears, wife left me in the bedroom (snoring problem), went out into the livingroom, turned up the thermostat. I wake up burning up. Lay there for half an hour or so. Finally get up thinking, What the - I know she doesn't like hot. Go out to the front and it's freezing. She had a bag laying on one register and the dog carrier on the other. I'll bet it was like 90 in the back. She was curled up with the dog, freezing. I didn't know what was going on at first, it was the first time we had turned the heat on in this camper.

I thought this thread was going to be about college football. :-

It's cool here (in the high 70's) for the time being....but in Texas summer has a way of sticking it's hot ole' nasty nose back in the mix all the way through September and sometimes it's still uncomfortably warm even into October. I wish I could say it will stay cool like this....but it won't. It'll probably be back in the high 90's next week.... :

Ain't Texas great. ;D

Spent last week up in Lewiston MI, temps down in the 50's at night, felt like autumn was roaring in.

Returned home to 90 degree humid weather - I want to go back...

Plugging in.
Wait to Start light.
Winter Fuel and Mileage.
How cold before Diesel gels.

How long can I idle in the winter.

Yeah,

We've seen a couple of nights last week creep down into the 40's and I'm ready. But...like Hoss, I'm ready for the smell of sweat, the clack of the helmets, the sound of the drums in the marching band, the roar of the crowd....Oh yes indeedy, fall=football. ;D ;D

Ya know, I've been trying to think of a place to fish this weekend, U.P. trip got cancelled. "The Holy Waters" sound kind of tempting. Course Karen want's to shoot over to Leland, but it's her fault the U.P. trip was cancelled. We'll see...
