IT'S TIIMMEEE GANG - - - to get up - - - to grab some ph00 or coffee - - - to start your day - - - to go to church - - - to have some fun and relax cuz it's Sunday.
Can't believe how the weeks fly. Fixed some coffee and ph00 for ya. Brought along orange juice, made oatmeal with multiple stuff to go in it like brown sugar,
slice peaches, raisins, craisins - - also brought various boxed cereals. Come and enjoy.

Me gone. …………………….

Have a great week.
Bob

Oh Stan will be happy....

I'm referring to the Mexistan.... and not my beagle, Stan...... although he will be happy too. He likes oatmeal.

Another hot, humid, sticky day here in the land of the Toxic Avenger. Yesterday, went to visit the Beagle rescue group that we adopted 3 of our dogs from. We bring them back every X number of weeks to see the gang of volunteers, talk beagle talk, and give the dogs a good "happy" experience, visiting the adoptable beagles that need new homes. On the way home, we avoided the Garden State Cash Cow, and took all the back roads home. Got caught in that mega downpour. We drove through flooded streets, and luckily we avoided northern NJ in the process such as this Car dealer off Rt. 46 yesterday afternoon.

Grabbing some oatmeal and fruit today, and trying to make the best of the August yuck.

See ya!

Good morning from a damp Paradise. Had more rain last night. Love it when it rains mostly at night, which means that the days are really nice. Love going outside just as the sun is coming up and seeing everything washed and clean smelling. Made fresh coffee and ph00. Hope it is not wasted.

Bob,yuh dun gud. Not much food left, so that means that somebody has been around, but they did not say anything. Took the last of the OJ. Swept and aired the breakroom out and petted the forlorn dragon.

That flood that NJTman posted was unreal. Saw it in other news too. Wonder how the insurance companies handle something like this? Hope the dealership survives and all the associated jobs.

A few weeks ago the government prohibited all stores, such as grocery stores from giving out plastic bags. This is excellent for the environment as it is going to stop so many of the used bags flying around and making a mess. In it's place all stores are selling large (about 18"X18") heavy duty reusable fabric bags for 12 pesos, which is about US$.62. Don't understand how these bags can even be made for that price.

Another busy day ahead of me (when will this slow down?) so had better get moving. My wife will be leaving in a few minutes for her usual morning swim. She goes out religiously 5 mornings a week and swims nonstop for 2000 meters. I can't do that. How many of you can do that?

Ciao

Morning all. Sun is up and lighting the world -- uuuhhhh, well, a part of the world for now, anywho.
Stan, I noticed dragon was very draggy yesterday morning also. Lonely. Several states here have no more plastic bags. However, as much as I have enjoyed my times in Mexico, one thing I noted everywhere was trash beside the road. Out in the middle of nowhere are plastic and paper bags and boxes full of garbage just thrown beside the road. You do not see that in the US or most of the other countries we have visited. California has some pretty strict rules on bags - - to bad their restrictions stop there. ….. ……….. As for the swim, hey, I can do that - - - with my dive gear on, full tank and down about 75' deep and enjoying all the coral and gorgeous fish and shells and sharks and - - - - WHOA - - WAS THAT A SHARK. OK, swim is over. ………...

Grabbing a ph00 and off to see what I can accomplish today. Lots more on the calendar than I will ever finish. GGRRR...…………………..

As much as I enjoy living in Mexico, must admit that the country has a garbage problem. My wife and other Mexican's get furious when they drive around and see the garbage everywhere. The problem is improving. Not too far away from me a large garbage dump and the wind every day picks up the plastic bags and blows them around. Every day there is a crew outside the dump cleaning up. Hopefully with these bags now being illegal, this problem will diminish rapidly.

Sorry Bob, but swimming with a tank is cheating. In any case, can you honestly say that even with that gear on that you swim 2000 meters - in one hour or less?

It's an unusually cloudy day here today. Normally by now we have bright sunshine. I am enjoying the change.

Just went out with my coffee to go and sit in the swing on the terrace. As I got close to the swing, received a spider web across my face and saw a big spider running up the web. It had strung it's web between the two chains on the swing. Hate the feel of a spider web across my face! UGH!!!! Sorry buddy, time for you to go and find a new home. Did you know that spiders can fly?

Okay, folks..

I think the world is coming to an end?? Is Noah around?

Really? The other day, it was north of me. This am, it was south of me. Crazy stuff going on Here. I think George Harrison wrote "Here comes the flood"

Over 100 evacuated following flooding in Brick Township

In NJ, the insurance companies do NOT pay out from events such as the last couple days. You need to buy "flood insurance", which is a govt backed insurance policy which does pay for events like today in Brick NJ. And the dealership up north. No separate policy, you're out of luck.

Folks who have flood insurance pay a lot for it. It's all based on your location, and homes elevation. Each house is priced accordingly. $2k a year is a norm , again, depending on location.

My wife works at an insurance company in Brick. She got screamed at all day because these people either had no flood insurance, or had it, and canceled it because its so expensive. Again 5 to 6 inches of rain in a couple hours. Your house is getting trashed if you live anywhere near a creek, brook or inlet.

Man, you guys are really getting it. I will quit complaining about my pond flooding other than I am loosing all my tilapia between flooding the alligators in the pond eating them. Speaking of Noah, I heard it was really boring on the ark. Noah would not let his kids play cards - - he was sitting on the deck. ………….

New day, new coffee and ph00 - - did not have time to go get goodies, but did bring some sliced watermelon - - it is in the fridge.
Gotta run, busy day …………..ph00...……………..

Walking out of the gym, tonight, I came across a double rainbow.

Pretty cool, IMO. My wife would be thinking her mom and dad were communicating from the great beyond, and they may just be....

Dunno..

Having a beer, making a,salad with my favorite time of years fruit, and hitting the hay soon.

Take a tomato or two home with ya!

Rained all week up here, finally letting up for a day or two. Then more rain. Another summer that never was.
Had a follow up appointment on my knee today. Not healing right so I'm getting sent to a specialist next week. Bummer.

Fireweed to the top. Snow on the peaks behind the house. Heater kicking on in the morning. And driving to work with my headlights on.
More rain all this week, probably more snow for the hill tops.
