It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Right on!!!! Welcome back stranger. Pull up a chair and stay for a while. Bring your own coffee. One change is that not too many folks drop by the breakroom any more. Wonder why not?
Had a good time on Saturday at a 50th wedding anniversary of a relative-by-marriage. About 80 family attended. The house where the party was held belongs to a guy who likes to collect old cars. The attached picture is a part of his back yard and was taken over the top of the last table. That is not a full Mariachi band in the pic as it was necessary to keep the noise down a bit. Inside the garage to the left of the Jag is a 1963 Cadillac Deville, a 60's something Mercedes and a perfect 1954 MG in British racing green.

Been a bit busy today. Took DW to the hospital for a shock treatment. (Cardioversion). They hit her 4 times, leaving visible burns and sore muscles without converting the rhythm from a-fib to sinus. Oh well, we'll have to try other things. It must have done some good, though. She's feeling pretty good, even after the beating she took.
She needs full time watch for 24 hours just in case there's trouble. I had to go in to fix a network problem so I left her at the kid's (grand kid's) apartment for a couple of hours. I really had to twist her arm for that one.
Gotta go do the dishes and get to bed. I have to take her to cardio rehabilitation in the morning.

This past trip I came up on a closed highway, I was the second vehicle in line. A firey crash.
Nearby there is a set of railway tracks with warnings how rough they are and reduce your speed. The semi slowed, the car did not. The driver was texting and hit the back of the semi at over 80 MPH. This was what the DOT officer told me.
I was only able to get a pic of the semi trailer after they pulled it off the road...
I see more and more of this lately.

A bright and sunny 7 degrees this morning. Yesterday we were supposed to have white-out snow squalls. None appeared. Tomorrow is supposed to be near 50, with rain and then snow showers this weekend. I guess I'll keep everything from coats to summer clothes in the car.
