got a new house..yada...

anyways, this shack has 14 windows, and 2 doors.

and I need something to cover them.

done cheap plastic mini blinds before - hated'em, look like poo

had metal mini blinds last house.....very $$..and bent all out of shape, too $$ to replace.

so now, I'm stuck between cheap mini blinds from WallyWorld for $3.49 apeice,
or $25 each plastic "faux wood" looking 2 inch cheap plastic mini blinds,

or going to a custom blind store...and doing what?

big problem is, ran out of stray $cratch over holidays, had to put new carpet and AC in
old house in GA, still not done $$ with that....

so what's a reasonable solution for ~$200?
$4 x 14 = $56
$20 x 14 = 280 ....ouch....
would Belks or Dillards have something DECENT?

i've been low rent most of my life, trying to do a little better with this new house for the
wife, really don't want to put cheapo blinds in it, and have to redo them in a year.

somebody told my wife about "magnetic " blinds for the doors.

 

Do what you gotta do.

I would put up the best of the cheapo's now and start putting pennies back for the new ones. Cheap beats beats aluminum foil any day.

That is, if the Li'l Misses agrees.

 

Got a sewing machine? Just have the wife make some curtains, they aren't that difficult to make. Or just hang some sheers, you can get them at Wally World with rods, cheap. If the wife isn't a sewer, you probably have a neighbor that is wiz bang on a sewing machine that would love to meet you guys.
