Lower miles to shave a face only.

I'm with you guys on shaving. I hate to shave but I have to because of where I work.

I also hate getting my haircut. I had hair down to the middle of my back before I got on the Fire Dept. It was truly a sad day when I had to cut my hair. I also pretty much let all my piercings grow back because we can't have them either.

Oh well....

I get annoyed about sahving too. Like a previous poster, I'm lucky that I only have to shave every 2-3 days because it doesn't grow fast. But buying the &*%$ razors gets expensive. I can buy a half decent electric razor at WalMart for $25-$30. But a pack of replacement blades for my Mach-III costs almost as much. I get a better shave with the razors, so i stick with them...and also because it seems like the batteries on my electrics always crapped out when i needed them the most. I remember heading out for a first date with a woman...showered, then tried shaving with the electric...dead bat.! I had to pick up a disposable at a market, and shave while driving. Not a good scene...i was running late. Needless to say, the electric got dinged as far as it could fly, and I bought a good razor.

I should really grow a Grizzly Adams and not worry about it...but it grows so slow, it would take me 5 years just to cover my face.

Im almost 17 and I can say in the whole 2 years of shaving I have done, I have never cut myself with a razor and I dont even use shaving cream. I dont see why everyone has problems with razors.

Ahh don't feel bad, I'm 38 and have yet to cut myself either. I have always shaved in the shower, never used any creams or gels or even a mirror.

I do shave in the shower. Who needs a mirror? Even when I had the goattee I didn't use the mirror, just shaved in the shower. If I don't go against the hair then I need to shave in 6 hours, so I go through a mach 3 razor in 4 days. It sucks shaving on Fridays.

With a mirror (and a goatee...) I can get it done in less than one minute in the shower.

Can't beat it.

I have a pretty thick beard and I can still get 2+ weeks out of my blades.

Granted they get do dull toward the end but at that point it's not apparent to my fellow employees. Too gradual to be obvious.

Unless your beard is made of brillo (or you're a surgeon, etc.) I don't know why people go thru so many blades so quickly.

Waste of money IMO.

I only grow mine when on leave ... then it comes in like a forest and fast. I can make a single blade bic last two weeks easy.

I always thought that I'd like to grow my hair out again but I doubt I will ... just the beard. ZZ Top look out .

Over here in europe you see hairy legged women once in a while and it makes you wanna . I can live with the armpit hair, no big deal ... but to see a sweet young thing in a dress and heels with hairy man legs ... nope.
Brings images of Hoss in a thong to mind.

Sleep tight,

Here is the answer.
I have a neice who works in a lab with DNA. I'm trying to get her to extract some DNA from my dog- a lab- and mix it with mine. The dog never gets a hair cut, so that is what I'm after!

Lately I've been marking some fire plugs though.

Your armpit hair won't grow long enough to braid? Maybe you could get some extensions!
