How to handle this one??
Where do I start? For over a week I have not slept well due to some folks a canyon over running a generator 24/7. It rattles the house somewhat. On new years eve we met with the folks who`s property is adjacent to the problem people. There are elder, trustworthy, honest. Here`s what they said. You just started to hear it? weve been dealing with this for 3 years. recently they moved a car crusher onto the property. I myself have seen 2 trailer loads going out. The crusher is run during the day mostly. Ive been told there are some 200 cars there to be destroyed. There are many illegal motorhomes and mobiles on the property none with a septic system. The sewage runs down a small canyon onto the older folks property. There is a 24" steel drain culver connecting the properety for rain water run off. A while back the problem people ran a pipe thru the culvert from their water tanker thats been parked there for years and ran the line up to a remote area where they were growing pot plants. This is in a remote and untraveled area of the good folks properety. They finally discovered it and removed it. The sherrifs office has been contacted several times regarding all the problems and have yet to do anything. They said "were after the big fish" They told the good folks to get some lisc plate # if possible, being there are anywhere from 10 to 20 vehicles comming and going daily. They hid out in a remote area and collected plate #s for 2 weeks, still nothing from the law.
These people are white trash. I belive in live and let live but Ive had enough of sleepless nights myself. They are spread out on 2 thousand acres and have many pitbull type dogs roaming the land free so getting in is near impossible. I know how I would like to resolve this, but I would end up in prison, and their not worth it. It seems some of you are involved with the law. What should we do?
Thanks, Apache.

A call to your local EPA, that should do it, they really frown on things like that. Also DFG would not be happy about sewage running down a creek nor would Friends of the Ocean. There are lots of people (organizations) out there hopefully they will help when its really needed. Interesting the local Sheriff is unwilling to do anything. 2,000 acres in Ca. that’s a huge amount of $, unless they inherited it. Let your fingers do the walking. Just goes to show you you can live in a housing tract and have crappy neighbors or out in the sticks and still have a problem.

Nice little shooter there. We fielded the XM 107 to the troops last year and it will punch a fist size hole through a deuce and a half engine at 2000 yards.

Shovelheads remedy is what I thought was the cure myself
The dogs have been on the other folks property and some have been put down by firearms. I was thinking epa or water quality might be a start as well. If they dont shut tham **** generator off im gonna go crazy from lack of sleep.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone bothered to ASK these folks not to run their generator at night?

Forget the tree huggers. What you REALLY need to do is somehow start a family feud between them and the other white trash family across the street. Eventually they will kill each other off.
Disclaimer: I'm ONLY joking. Don't anyone go getting their panties in a wad.
I had a similar experience with the cops here. They asked me to get plate numbers when I told them 70 plus cars came into the yard beside me in a 3 hour period...can you say crack house?
I asked them what they would pay me for doing their job. Communications broke down.
Then they asked if they could place video surveillance equipment in the house but if they used the tapes in court I would have to appear. Uhhh no thanks.
So I talked to someone else.
Turns out one plate was a member of this detachment. then we got plates for two council members going there too.
An unfortunate mishap occured one night when it was well below freezing and the landlord shut the house down. A septic truck was there for two days cleaning out the basement.
Maybe Eds idea is not so extreme, get them where it counts. As for the dogs, well, they've been known for a bad attitude so they unfortunately will meet their demise somehow.
