How To Get Free Drinks!

http://www.satburn.com/mediagallery/...70118201510656

Saw this on YouTube, but there was some non-DTR vidz showing up on the same page, so I ripped it, re-encoded it and uploaded it somewhere "safe". That and I'm bored.

Pretty cool though, I would have lost the bet too.

I am not "mathematically minded" however being an engineer I caught on to the trick immediately. Never thought of using that to get a free round tho...

Yeah... And?

The circumference is equal to 3 (or pi) times the diamater. So... Yeah...

Who would ever bet beer on somebody that's such an obvious hustler anyways?

At work we occasionally have to measure a circumference, I still get surprised
sometimes as to how big the number turns out to be.
If we have an accurate diameter measurement we go with that X Pi.

The only catch with that is he was pushing the height as the correct choice so hard, the mark might be inclined to take circumference instead thinking it's a trap.

Although those are the marks you fool with a simple problem made complex.

For those of you that have access to 55 gal. drums and brazing or gas welding rod, the bet would be is the drum taller than the rod standing on end? The rod is taller by about 1/2".
