I don't know...."pre-meditated" and "motive" come to mind!

I feel sorry for the kid and his mom, I really do, it just bothers me that parents throw fits about how their kids act when it ALL comes from their raising..well..a LARGE majority of it anyway. They blame it on thier friends or their school teachers or anyone but themselves for not being around or not spending time with them. No one expects a 14 year old to be mature and always do the right thing, but does anyone believe that ANY 14 year old kid doens't know in his heart that egging vehicles is not right as well as illegal and dangerous? If kids knew a judge or a parent would sentence them to hand-washing all of the county vehicles and trucks if they got caught egging vehicles do you really think they would do it? I would never intentially harm someone for doing something like that or anything else for matter but I'd sure make them think about doing it again after I snatched him up by the ears and hauled him down to the courthouse...little turd.

I agree 100%

I knew an old guy that when a (I shall call him thug) keyed his truck he blew his knee out with his 357 mag. This old guy was crazy too, but respected you if you respected him. Worked on his truck a few times.

I know that I think quite differently than most of the politically correct majority around here. Most of the time I try to keep my "thoughts" to myself. This time, I couldn't resist. Just about every one of you reading this has thought about this... I'll kill you or break your leg or beat your rear if you take my or break into my or vandalize my property. Its only normal if you work hard and value what you have. But because of the political correctness of society, people feel it is wrong to think and feel that way. Most people lack the testicular fortitude to stand up for is right. We have become a society of softies. Thats why they no longer punish kids in school when they deserve it. Thats why parents are afraid to discipline their kids the way our parents once did. Discipline is now called child abuse. The jerk who came up with the child abuse deserves a big round of applause. So, since parents who don't deserve to multiply continue to breed and their offspring know that they can get away with murder, stuff continues to happen. Parents are rarely held accountable for their kids actions and the poor little kids get away with it. Why? The are only poor, innocent kids.... Excuse me while I vomit.
Kudos to the guy who shot the kid. Sure, maybe he should have just wounded the kid instead. Then that would mean lawsuits, money for the parents and sympathy for the dirt bag. The kid knew better. He knew the difference between right and wrong. One less punk to worry about. Harsh...isnt it. Fact...why shouldn't they not go out and commit some crime? The revolving door in todays jails doesn't scare anyone. In and out in two weeks....
Where is the incentive to walk the straight and narrow? Where is the incentive not to commit crimes? Sunday afternoon hangings.... available only on pay-per-view. The death penalty used on a regular basis.....just like it used to be. No more over crowding in jails and I bet these dirt bags would think twice before doing a crime. Good thing I'm not President...

So damage my vehicle? Don't do it. Accidents happen..
Rant on.....

I know where you are coming from. I have a little girl and a little boy on the way. I don't think that any parent deserves to lose their child for any reason. I also know that I was brought up to know the difference between right and wrong, and if I had done something like that . . . well let's just say I wouldn't have done anything like that.

There is a big difference between child abuse and teaching the difference between right and wrong. I can remember each of the 3 times that I got spanked as a child vividly. I deserved each and every one of them. As a result of that, I have never been arrested, given a ticket, gotten anyone pregnant (by accident). . .

If anyone would ever hurt my kids, god help them. I consider it my JOB to make sure that they are raised up right, not anyone else's.

All that said, I've been talking about my kids. My truck is a different story. I would be mad as heck, but those things can be fixed. Taking a life can't.

Thats a good attitude...............
I have carried a commission one form or another for 27 years.. seen so many ways people can dump on one another, and so many familys loose children to accidents, drunks, gangs, whatever...had to deliver a few too many of those 'notices"
Nothing I own in physical property is worth the loss it would cause a mother or father somewhere... my wife, my kids, yeah I would kill without hesitation to protect them, but no tmy truck, my yard art,.. that stuff can be replaced......
I think I have raised good kids.. good grades, no arrestts, all now have jobs and are responsible young adults.. that doesnt mean they didnt make mistakes as children. God help anyone who had harmed one of them for being a child, and acting like it.

BTW I never realy had to beat anyof them tooo too badly.......

and YES I am braggin about my kids.....

Amen to that.

You know, I was a good kid growing up. I did what my parents told me, I never got in trouble at school, I made good grades, I chose my friends wisely, I respected my elders, I said "yes sir" and "yes maam" and "thank you"...all that stuff. Even so, I did some stupid things at times. I egged my Vice Principal's car one time. I threw water balloons at passing cars from behind my grandparent's fence. I stole a G.I. Joe action figure from a friend of mine because I wanted it. I broke a window out of an old abandoned house. I did lots of things that I shouldn't have...just like we all did.

Anyone here who thinks the shooter was justified in shooting a kid over a silly prank is completely ignoring all of the stupid stuff that THEY did as a kid...and don't say you didn't because we all did.

In Texas the law would have allowed the use of deadly force in order to PREVENT criminal mischief during the night time. Shooting someone AFTER the fact, however, is plain and simple murder...and those who condone it are no better than the ones who pulled the trigger.

As far as I'm concerned, there isn't a material possession in the world that is worth taking someone's life over. Egg washes off. The blood that is now on his hands will not.
