Yup. I used to do the same thing but it's not worth it anymore. There are still certain places you can do it at but since I'm so close I'd rather not take the chance.

Nope, we're still not certain what's wrong with you...give medical science a few years to catch up, then you should be OK

Look at it this way, working on the truck was probably cheaper...less fun, but cheaper
