I usually go between C-Span, Fox and CNN. Local news is only for the local stuff, not politics.

Other threads that get political get shut down or moved and sometimes it's hard to avoid the political aspect of the point being made, such as in the fuel cost threads, where the political climate has a direct connection to the subject and our driving. Here it's pure politics and ranting with a TV show and nuts on the sidewalk as examples. Nothing related to the general subject matter of this site. But it's, apparantly, just fine. So I'm just curious. And I'm amused at all the anger over a dumb TV show and a dummer loser on the street. You guys can really go off so easily.

I think the anger is not over a "dumb tv show" or a "dummer loser on the street" who is a Marine and my friend/brother of which I have never met. The anger is over the communitiy of Berkely and the fact that they want to remove the Marine Recruiting station from the city.

Free speech came from what....our revolution against the British? We had to fight for that correct, funny how that involved...I don't know.....war?

The reason the Marines kept going about there business, try being in that special place we as Marines have all been through with the nats, chiggers and ants biting at ya and not being able to swat them or move.....somethings I guess you learn to ignore. I guess I'll go back to ignoring the nats and chiggers of this country........enough time has been wasted on writing this post.

DB, I think the picture was in poor taste. This has run it's course, it's gone.

I know a way around this problem. Buy a server, start your own site and moderate it as you see fit. I mean, since you're perfect and all, I'm sure it would be huge!
