Hetch Hetchy anyone

All I can say is WOW .MY wife and I did some hiking over the week end in Yosemite park We hiked back to the water falls and were just amazed at the volume of water coming down the falls (*large snow pack this year). at on point we would of been drier if we swam across the river then run the gantlet of bridges on the trails it was like a hurricane near the falls I have done this hike before but have never seen this kind of water. saw 3 black bears and some deer on the trail its a great family hiking spot that is well worth the effort to get there I highly recommend this to all ,and bring a good camera to

ps if you do go take water and granola bars too it can be a few hrs to all day long depending on the hike .

WELL...... where is the pics.

My wife and i love the greater Yosemite area, the only problem is were so far away. 2,063 miles to be exact, 32 hours drive

I would love to see the falls this year with all the snow in the high country.

can you imagine what the Hetch Hetchy valley looked like when John Muir walked into it for the first time, before the dam.

I know it supplys alot of water/power for folks but dang look at that place.

I would love to come out your way in the near future.

1 dead and 1 presumed dead today at Hetch Hetchy.

Crossed an "open to public" bridge that was under water??? and got swept down river.

So sad to hear that, one of my favorite places in the world...I spent many a day and night there.
