I ran the code passed some of the guys here at work, crunched the numbers using our HP N4000 HP/Ux Unix Cluster and came up with the following.<br><br>There are numbers that will never be obtained using the formula given.<br>However, there are a certain set of numbers that will be obtained everytime regardless of wich to numbers you originally choose.<br><br>As a result, you can "predict" wich symbol the little blue ball is going to show next by looking at one of the few numbers that are possible.<br>One of these numbes is the number 81.<br>Take a look at the number 81. <br>Each time you "play again" the symbol beside 81 changes. <br>That symbol will be the next symbol to be displayed in the little blue ball.<br><br>Yes, this is what a bunch of techno geeks do on a lunch hour.<br>

Wow, how much time did you guys spend on this? ??? Every number is a product of zero! Just look at the zero and it will always be the same symbol that is displayed in the crystal ball. ;D

Probably took him longer fixing all the type-o's than it did to write the code. :
<br>After compiling the code, it only took about 2 minutes to generate all the possible numbers that could be produced using the formula given. <br>Once the numbers were provided, it recalc'd them to find a pattern.<br>I used the number 81 as an example.<br>The entire process from start to finish took less than 10 minutes.<br>(Thats not counting all the interuptions from this thing they call "work". It sure gets in the way!
