Question Help needed installing Sony CDX L250 in 70 340 Duster

The Ol Duster is about to become a daily driver and I've picked up a Sony CD unit off E-bay, however it didn't come with installation instructions, only the wiring harness.

I believe all I need to identify is the wire for switched power and unswitched. No need for most of the wiring harness.

So, if anyone can help with either sorting out the harness, or a link (didn't find what I need with Google so far) I'd be in your debt.

Thanks, RJR

Here's a link at sony, if you put the model number, CDX-L250 and ask about manuals, it gives you a link to the owners manual (PDF)

It's a start.

dodgeram, thanks, that's the info I'm looking for.

Jerry, if the colors don't match up with dodgerams suggestions looks like I'll be using your link.

Thanks guys, RJR

dodge ram is correct...inline fuse the yellow. wire to any constant with switch off....red to switch on....small blue wire is for power antenna and/or remote on for an amp. you may have more than one blue wire...they are the same thing. You are home free....JKE
