HELP, CD player problem...
So, I was listening to my new country CD on a player in my garage while washing my truck. Finished washing and wanted to drive around the block to dry it off a bit.
Put the CD in the truck's player and got an error message, "Invalid CD", and it won't EJECT!!!
Tried everything I could think of to get it to eject, no luck.
Any advice?

On some CD players there is small recessed button on the front, you use an ink pen or something like that and it should eject. If not I have removed a cd before using a pen to push on the CD and it might make it eject. Sorry I can't give you more help.
Jim,
Mine did the same thing. I couldn't get it out. Took the truck back to the dealer while it was still under warranty and they replaced my factory stereo. If your 3/36 warranty is gone, you will probably have to buy another stereo.
Mine has since been replaced with an Alpine 9856. Much better sound and IPOD compatible.
I've got an almost new factory am/fm cd stereo that works perfectly if anybody is interested in it.

Well, I get in the truck this morning to go to work, push the eject button and it ejects.
I have no idea why it ejected this morning but won't be listening to that CD.
Thanks for the assist guys, I really appreciate it.

Get you a can of compressed air, the kind they use on computers, try blowing out the inside best you can and then buy a lense disc cleaner. I think it is made by Memorex? not sure, and that should help clean up the inside. Then try it with a CD you don't care about in case it gets stuck again. I have done this trick on several CD players over the years and it usually works, Good luck.

I have had CD get stuck sometimes when someone puts them in upside-down.
Don't understand why because they are just as round on both sides.
Also as harsh as my truck rides I am amazed it even works at all.
