I'm not sure I even want to know what a shrew is...or why.

I sold my last Dodge in 2007, I think, so it was probably around that time that I sort of disappeared from DTR. I've stuck my head in a few times through the years but without a truck to discuss and with all talk of airplanes and conveyor belts being banned I suppose I sought entertainment elsewhere.

But I'm back! And did I mention I have a new truck??

Speaking of shrews, anybody heard from Bark lately?

 

Bark has been on a road trip for the past few weeks. I seem to remember he did a drive by a week or so ago. As for being skeered - they are like high-powered firearms or venomous snakes, no need to be afraid as long as you treat them with respect.

BTW Hoss, someone brought up your concrete bedliner thread shortly after I joined this crazy place. I had an 'are you serious' moment and hours of reading thanks to you.

 

Man, you know you're a DTR newbie when your entire DTR existence is shorter than Hoss' disappearance.

I am indeed a Noob. I finally bought my first diesel in August 2010. Sadly it cost me $4,000 within my first month, after the $10,000 purchase price. I thought I had a cracked 53 block. It turned out it was a blown head-gasket right over the tranny heat-exchanger and a badly cracked head. Things have been mostly good since then except for a CAD that didn't even try to work and most recently an auto tranny that doesn't like electrical noise and decides to lock and unlock the TC rapidly. As of today, all good heading into a LONG Alberta winter.

What I lack in experience I try to make up for in enthusiasm.
